Where is Southern Farm & Land Almanac Located?

We are centrally located in Wetumpka, Alabama, about 10 miles out of Montgomery, Alabama.

How are the Almanacs distributed?

It is distributed by the participating businesses in the Almanac, as well as distributed by other chosen public businesses in the issue area.

Where are the Almanacs distributed?

Besides the participating advertisers, we distribute them in banks, grocery stores, restaurants, feed stores, and  automotive businesses, as well as all types of retail in the issue area.

How many copies do you put out?

Depending on how many copies the participating advertising businesses need, we never print and distribute any less than 5,000 copies that convey your advertising message in not only your area but the immediate surrounding area as well.

How long have you been putting them out in our area?

We have been publishing the Almanac since 1980 throughout the South and Southeast.

What kind of businesses advertise in the Almanac?

We represent all types of businesses from banks, restaurants and  contractors, and give fair representation to all.

What if another business like mine advertises?

If another business like yours advertises with us, they will not be on the same page or

have the same news story as your business.

I do business all over town and in other counties - will they have access to the Almanac?

I do not have "walk-in" traffic ...

In a case like that, we would drop off your Almanacs at other local NON-competitive businesses to give out, compliments of your business.

I am not a farmer, why should I advertise with your Almanac?

The Almanac is not just for farmers, it is for everyone.  We have many articles pertaining to many interests and hobbies.  The calendars and charts are provided for an entire year so your advertisement is working for you during the entire year.

Do you accept checks, credit cards, debit cards, etc?

Yes, we accept cash and checks, as well as VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

What if I don't like the ad or don't have the money to pay?

It is printed material, so when we deliver your complimentary copies of the Almanac, we have to collect on the advertising you authorized for your business.  We do have a quick turn around from the time we call to when we deliver to your business.
